Reduced rates 
Reduced rates are available for students or nurses as well as low- and lower-middle income country residents. 

Students:  
Students currently enrolled in a University programme are eligible for these rates. Please note: Documented proof of enrolment needs to be uploaded during the registration process.  

Nurses:  
Delegates registered in this category will need to upload documented proof of being registered as a nurse during the registration process. 

Low- and lower-middle income country residents:  
Participants residing in countries classified by the World Bank as low- or lower-middle income economies may attend the Union Conference at a reduced rate.

• Membership runs from January to December 
• This offer entitles the named person only Union Membership for 15 months for the Price of 12 
• Membership will commence on October 2022 and run until December 2023 
• This offer only applies to new Members joining The Union 

Early fee – until 31 July 2022 

Regular fee – 1 August to 11 November 2022 

All registration fees include admission to opening and closing ceremonies, scientific sessions, poster exhibition, commercial exhibition, Community Connect, Youth4LungHealth and access to the Union Conference recordings until 30 December 2022. Fees are displayed in Euros and include VAT. 

Individual registration 

• After payment is executed, no further edits will be allowed  
• Fees applicable (early or regular) will correspond to the payment date and confirmation  
• Due to the nature of a virtual conference, with all content available to view on demand, we do not accept cancellations or provide refunds.

Group registration 

• Group registration is intended for 2 participants and more
• In order to register groups, you will require a group coordinator 
• Coordinator will not be considered as participant, unless a full profile is entered  
• Duplicated participant emails will not be accepted 
• When the last participant is saved and payment is executed, no further edits will be allowed  
• Fees applicable (early or regular) will correspond to the payment date and confirmation  
• Due to the nature of a virtual conference, with all content available to view on demand, we do not accept cancellations or provide refunds. 
• Groups of 10 to 19 paid members will obtain a 10% discount and groups of over 20 paid members will receive a 20% discount (reflected at payment check-out).

Registration confirmation along with the payment receipt will be sent by email to delegates upon completion of their registration and once the full payment has been received. Individuals will receive their login details to the virtual platform at a later date. 

For group registrations, confirmation of payment will be sent to the group coordinator once the full payment has been received. Group members will receive their login details to the virtual platform at a later date.  

Should participants/group coordinators require a specific billing address on the invoice, we kindly request you to add it during the registration process. Once issued, and following legal regulations, it is no longer possible to modify the invoice. Therefore, participants/group coordinators are requested to make sure the correct billing address is entered while registering. 

Card payment 

All payments for individual and group registrations can be settled by card (AMEX, Visa or MasterCard). 

Bank transfer payment 

Payment through bank transfer is only possible until 28 October 2022.  Bank charges must be borne by the ordering customer. Bank details can be found on the registration summary received by email once your registration information is saved.

Once bank transfer is executed, the individual/group coordinator will come back to the profile and enter the bank transfer details in order that our finance department is able to review and confirm such registration.  Once the registration is confirmed the individual/group coordinator will receive a confirmation email.

Survivors of lung health

For the third year in a row, the Union Conference is excited to offer sponsored registrations free of charge to survivors of tuberculosis and other lung diseases. Applications are now open.

 Accepted abstract speakers 

The Union is pleased to offer 100 sponsored registrations for the Union Conference. Priority will be given to individuals from low- and lower-middle income countries as well as those who are presenting at the conference – including invited speakers and presenters of abstracts (oral presentations and e-posters) and symposia presentations who would be unable to participate without support.

Submissions will open in July.

Notifications will be sent in August. 

Important note: If you are submitting a sponsored registration request, please wait until you receive your notification before registering for the conference. Early fees are normally granted even though the sponsored registration request was not successful and you will receive corresponding indications.

Civil Society  

We are also pleased to offer 100 sponsored registrations to civil society members and individuals involved in efforts to address lung health. Individuals from low- and lower-middle income countries will be given priority, as will those who are presenting at the conference, including in Community Connect. 

Please note this process does not apply to invited speakers or authors of accepted abstracts or symposia. Please review corresponding guidelines before submitting. 

If you are a survivor of TB or another lung disease, please apply through the relevant form available on the registration page.
